About
A search engine with nothing to hide
When you search, your browser talks directly to two public endpoints — DuckDuckGo's Instant Answer API and Wikipedia's OpenSearch API. There is no server of ours in the middle: nothing is proxied, aggregated, or stored.
Recent searches live only in this tab's memory and vanish when you close it. The only thing kept on your device is your light/dark preference. No cookies are set, no analytics scripts load, and no identifiers ride along with any request.
It's a working demonstration that a fast, useful search experience doesn't require a surveillance business model.
